After much back-patting when OBAMAcare became federal law, the Democrats are now saying OOPS we “forgot” to allow the Collective to pay / subsidize members of Congress and their staffs' enrollment in the Insurance Exchanges. When we passed the Grassley amendment, did you truly think that we intended for Congress and its minions to be treated like everyone else in the country? Please, we are the anointed elite and our minions are Federal employees [admittedly not as powerful as Abaddon, Amduscias or Asmodeus but they are influential little demon nonetheless]. Of course we and they should be treated better than the Sheeple we rule [oops should have said govern, oops again should have said represent], so income limits should not apply to subsidies that we receive.
In fact if OUR children needed a lung transplant, they should not have to go to a federal judge to get a TRO because of the “shall be determined by the Secretary" DEATH PANEL rules written into OBAMA Care "so sad ... too bad" YOU can't have a lung transplant. Under the COLLECTIVE'S NEW RULES, transplants must go to a PRODUCTIVE MEMBER OF THE PARTY [oops should have said society] rather than to an UNPRODUCTIVE [UN-PARTIED] CHILD. It is not properly political like the IRS NFP determinations, this is purely a cost benefit calculation. The Collective has very little invested in a child [or in keeping a retired old person alive] vs a productive adult, so why waste a set of good lungs on an unproductive / yet to be productive child of politically unreliable parents. Rather evocative of George Bernard Shaw's, a preeminent Fabian Socialist, classic rant stating that Sheeple should be forced to Justify Their Existence - but I digress. It is all about rationing and who can best contribute to the Forward motion of the Collective.
Congress wrote themselves into the Obama Care Insurance Exchanges in part to deflect public outcry over their hypocrisy. Now they are looking for a way to dodge the very same rules that they are forcing on every other Citizen and Employer. For example CT Representative Larson finds it horrifically “unfair” that he and his staff will be relegated to the same system that is expected to be imposed on tens of millions of Americans. According to Townhall.com, the Democrat, who was among the leadership in his party when healthcare reform was passed, said “this is simply not fair". What's unfair to the Sovereign Citizens of Connecticut is the fact that Larson is running for re-election! Shameful Hypocrite! But the Sheeple keep voting for Progressives, Baah, Baah, Baah all the way home or to the Knacker’s Yard depending on one’s value to the Collective!
