"Faith in Culture, our Adult Christian Formation series for the 2013–2014 program year, resumes with four sessions that will explore the intersection of science, faith, and the created world.
The first session on Sunday, January 12, at 7:00 p.m., following an informal reception at 6:30 p.m., will feature The Reverend Hope Eakins, currently Interim Rector at St. John's Church in West Hartford, and well known to St. James' members as our Interim Rector before Father George Roberts was called to be our Rector. Prior to being called to the ministry,Hope's career was as a geneticist. Her topic is "Does Science Lead Us to God, or does God Lead us to Science."
The series is open with warm invitation to all members and friends and anyone from other parishes and churches in our area.
