Drainage Work Planned At Talcott Notch Road, Farmington
Work will start on Monday, Aug. 1, with traffic disruptions expected for about two weeks.

FARMINGTON, CT — Motorists are reminded that a section of Talcott Notch Road will be subject to drainage work starting on Monday, Aug. 1.
According to an announcement posted online by the Town of Farmington, the highway & grounds division of public works will be doing drainage work/upgrades on Talcott Notch Road between Aqueduct Lane and Copper Beech Lane, weather permitting.
The work will take approximately two weeks to complete, according to the town.

While all homes, businesses, etc., will be open and available for access, no through traffic will be permitted and will be re-routed via Old Mountain Road to Mountain Spring Road.
As a result, town officials say motorists expecting to drive in the area during this time should plan accordingly.

Work is expected to be done from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
