The Ethel Walker School Announces 2019 Graduates

Three students from Farmington recently received their diplomas from The Ethel Walker School in Simsbury.

SIMSBURY, CT — The Ethel Walker School, an independent college preparatory boarding and day school for girls in Simsbury, has announced three students from Farmington graduated as members of its Class of 2019.

Alexis Berard earned the Caroline Walker Honor Society Award in recognition of her character and the Henry B. Sargent Memorial Prize for kindliness and good fellowship during the school’s annual Prize Night. Berard will attend Gettysburg College in the fall.

Helena Labonte of Farmington and Portsmouth, RI will attend Salve Regina in the fall.

While at Walker’s, Sofia Zarmsky earned honorable mention for her biochemistry project in an international contest, the 3rd Annual Small World Initiative (SWI), “Do Something About Antibiotics Challenge™.” Zarmsky will attend Texas Christian University in the fall.
