Afternoon at the Bijou: Till the Clouds Roll By

Join us for our summer classic movie series:

Till The Clouds Roll By (1946) Robert Walker stars in this fictionalized, tune-filled look at the life of renowned composer Jerome Kern. After failed attempts to sell his songs to Broadway producers, Kern travels to London where he meets his future wife before returning to the U.S. to pen his masterpiece "Show Boat." Van Heflin and Dorothy Patrick co-star. Features appearances by Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, June Allyson, Lena Horne, Dinah Shore, Cyd Charisse. Songs include "Ol' Man River," "The Last Time I Saw Paris," "Look for the Silver Lining," and more. 135 min

This event is free and open to the public and will take place in the Community Room at the main library at 6 Monteith Drive.
