MyTosi

### Farmington-Developed MyTosi Offers Phone Scam Support and Everyday Peace of Mind -- Free during pilot Locally developed in Farmington by Nooded Technologies LLC, **MyTosi is an AI-powered phone scam safety assistant** that helps individuals and families recognize suspicious calls and understand what to do next. Its friendly assistant, Tosi, offers clear, practical guidance when a caller creates pressure, requests sensitive information, or demands an unusual payment. Users can call Tosi to discuss a concerning conversation or bring Tosi into an ongoing call using their phone’s three-way calling feature, where supported. With appropriate disclosure and consent, Tosi listens for warning signs such as demands for gift cards, requests for security codes, or someone claiming to represent a government agency. It helps users understand the risks and decide whether to hang up and verify the caller independently. Beyond phone scam support, MyTosi helps explain confusing calls, suggests polite ways to decline persistent telemarketers, and lets registered members upload photos of letters or bills through the website. Members receive a plain-language explanation, potential warning signs, and suggested next steps. Tosi does not make payments, conduct transactions, or take control of a user’s phone—the member remains in charge. **The first 25 members can join the free pilot with no credit card required and no automatic charges.** If paid plans are introduced later, members choose whether to subscribe. No app-store download is needed, and the website can be added to a compatible phone’s home screen for convenient access. MyTosi is a supportive tool, not a guarantee that a caller or document is genuine. AI can make mistakes, and important requests should always be verified through independently trusted contact information. **Learn more or join the free pilot at [mytosi.replit.app).**

Historic Stanley-Whitman House in Farmington

Stanley-Whitman House

Stanley-Whitman House, a ca. 1720 National Historic Landmark in the heart of Farmington, Connecticut, is more than a museum; it is a living storybook of New England’s colonial past. For nearly a century, this house museum has welcomed visitors to step back in time and discover the rhythms of daily life in 18th- and early 19th-century Farmington. We offer guided house tours, seasonal programs, school field trips, and hands-on workshops that illuminate history through experience. From hearth cooking and foodways demonstrations to gravestone cleaning workshops and walking tours of Memento Mori Cemetery, each program brings to life the traditions, struggles, and resilience of early residents. Our growing America250 initiatives highlight Farmington’s role in the Revolutionary War, showcasing both well-known patriots and underrepresented voices, including women, Indigenous peoples, and African Americans. Our interpretive gardens, artist interventions, and rotating exhibits connect the past to the present, while our partnerships with local schools, historical societies, and cultural organizations deepen community impact. The Stanley-Whitman House also serves as a resource for genealogists, researchers, and heritage travelers who seek authentic connections to New England history. What makes us unique is the way we blend scholarship with storytelling, preservation with participation. Visitors don’t just learn history here; they touch it, taste it, and walk in its footsteps. Whether you join us for a house tour, attend a lecture, bring your students, or support us through membership and special events like our annual Progressive Dinner, you become part of a tradition of keeping history alive for future generations.
