Looking for a little fun after the holidays are over? Getting a case of cabin fever? The Farmington Valley Woman's Club is holding its Annual Crazy Whist Card Party on Friday, January 20, with a snow date Friday, January 27. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the games will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Not too card savvy? Don't worry! No need to know how to play cards to play this game! There are 16 rounds or hands played, and the rules change with every hand. Each player keeps track of their own score sheets, and there are prizes awarded for the lowest and highest scores at the end. Bring a table of four players, or meet new friends at the event!
Throughout the games, door prizes will be awarded. Raffle tickets will be sold for a wine and food basket, which will be raffled at the end of the evening. Refreshments will also be served when the games are over. The cost for the entire evening of fun is only $6.00!
