Farmington BOE Requests $2.18 Million in Capital Projects
Much of the request will be used at Robbins School for heating and telephone system upgrades.

The Farmington Board of Education approved its capital budget Tuesday night with a request for $2.18 milion in capital projects.
Of that $890,000 was requested for the Robbins School heating plant and $300,000 for a new telephone system, according to the Hartford Courant.
The furnaces at the school haven’t been replaced since 1958 and are approaching the end of their lives.

The budget has to be sent to the town manager for review and the town council gives final approval.
