Farmington Considers Buying Open Space Parcel
The deal would be part of a land swap between the town and Walnut Farms Village Association.

The Town of Farmington is considering purchasing a plot of land to separate a town-owned open space parcel from a recreation area.
The land on Walnut Farms Drive would be bought from the estate of John. K Hanrahan for $275,000, according to the Hartford Courant.
The land would go to the Walnut Farms Village Association in exchange for the town receiving a 30-foot-wide parcel on the edge of association land.
