Farmington Coronavirus Update: 10 More Cases Confirmed
Over the weekend, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 30 in Farmington, according to state health officials.
FARMINGTON, CT — The start of the first full week of April saw the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut approach 7,000 Monday, while the total in Farmington jumped to 30. Statewide, the number of deaths related to the virus is up to 206, with 1,221 hospitalizations. Just under 27,000 people have undergone testing for the virus thus far, according to state health officials.
Fairfield County continues to compile the highest number of confirmed cases with 3,719, or 53.9 percent of the state's total. Farmington is located in Hartford County, which has confirmed 882 cases with 31 deaths.
