Farmington Coronavirus Update: 16 Cases Now Confirmed

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 16 as of Thursday in Farmington, according to state health officials.

FARMINGTON, CT — As the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut climbed near 4,000 Thursday, the total in Farmington has risen to 16. Statewide, the number of deaths related to the virus has reached 112, with 827 hospitalizations. About 18,300 people have been tested for the virus, according to state health officials.

Fairfield County continues to compile the highest number of confirmed cases with 2,132, or 55.8 percent of the state's total. Hartford County, in which Farmington is located, has confirmed 539 cases with 13 deaths.
