Farmington Coronavirus Update: 4 More Cases Confirmed
On Friday, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 20 in Farmington, according to state health officials.
FARMINGTON, CT — Heading into the first weekend of April, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut climbed near 5,000 Friday, while the total in Farmington has risen to 20. Statewide, the number of deaths related to the virus is up to 131, with 909 hospitalizations. Just over 20,000 people have undergone testing for the virus thus far, according to state health officials.
Fairfield County continues to compile the highest number of confirmed cases with 2,716, or 55.3 percent of the state's total. Hartford County, in which Farmington is located, has confirmed 679 cases with 18 deaths.
