Farmington Election 2015 Results: Town Council Race Winners Revealed
The retirement of First Selectman Richard Barlow meant two challengers facing off for the town's top seat.

Republicans maintained control over the Farmington Town Council as the results of Election Day balloting were totaled.
Four Republicans were re-elected to their seats, including Town Council chair Nancy Nickerson, who was unopposed. She is being joined by incumbents Jon Landry, Peter Mastrobattista and Meredith Trimble and first-time electee Gary Palumbo.
Democrats retaining their council seats were Amy Suffredini and John W. Vibert.

Attorney Bill Beckert, a Democrat, lost in his bid for a council seat, but will remain a member of the Board of Education.
Official vote totals will be available later Tuesday night.
