The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Traffic. As a member of the Town Planning and Zoning Commission, I will do everything I can to improve the traffic flow in our town, which will attract new businesses into Farmington and allow existing businesses to thrive. Improved traffic flow will also clear the way for town services to deploy efficiently and allow our citizens to move around more easily. I will push for quantitative traffic studies, both in general and as part of any new development in town. I will also look to build a closer relationship with our state government in Hartford through our Farmington state representative, Mike Demicco, in order to get CT DOT attention on Route 4, and 6 & 177.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

Frankly, I don't know either of the candidates that I am running against, nor do I know what they stand for. I can only speak to my strengths which are critical thinking, fiscal responsibility, relationship building, and a tireless work ethic. I am a balanced, grounded, and and focused individual that will engage with our community and make thoughtful decisions based on a combination of what I think is best for our town and what I hear from the voters that I represent. I am extremely excited for the opportunity to serve.

Accomplishments:

I have had a successful 15+ year career in insurance and feel that my ability to build relationships with people is one of my strongest attributes that I think will serve me well as a representative for the voting public and as a functional member of the TPZ Commission.

Other issues:

Thoughtful growth, attracting small to mid-size businesses to town, and and continued maintenance of competitive tax rates.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I am honored to be on the ballot along with a terrific slate of candidates who are not only willing to sacrifice their time and energy for their community and but who have incredible ideas and strategies that will make a lasting impact on our town. I hope to gain your trust and earn your vote on November 2nd! Vote Row A by mail or in person!
