Critical differences between me and my opponents:

My wife Kimberly and I grew up in Farmington and always knew when we had a family of our own we would want to raise them in Farmington so we moved back to Town in 2017. Our two sons Braden and Liam both attend Union School, I grew up attending Noah Wallace (my wife West District), Irving Robbins, and Farmington High School (’01). I often think back to growing up in Cope Farms, riding bikes to Westwoods to golf, playing soccer at Tunxis Meade, and getting candy after school from Jiggs. To this day, I remain close with several high school classmates, and many of whom still live in Town. It excites me knowing my children and their classmates will have that same opportunity to thrive in a community that fosters life long bonds and memories.

Accomplishments:

After graduating from Farmington High School, I attended Villanova University (’05) where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Post-graduation I applied my degree to design HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for educational, municipal, and commercial buildings while employed by an engineering firm headquartered in Middletown, CT. I began with the firm as a Mechanical Engineer after I graduated and through hard work and passion, I am now the President of the company which has grown to be a 130-person firm with 6 offices throughout the country. Our success has been achieved through strong teamwork, incredible people, and communication and hard work.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

If elected as your TPZ Alternate, I would apply those same traits that successfully grew my firm to what it is today, to ensure the Farmington community remains an incredible place to grow-up, live and retire. Having worked on the design side of the construction industry for the last 16 years, I have spent an immense amount of time on construction sites and studying building methodologies. I know this professional knowledge will be an asset to the town planning and zoning board as I bring with me a strong understanding of construction and the process that surrounds it. This depth of comprehension allows me the ability to take a step back to review the construction project as a whole and if elected as the Town Planning and Zoning Alternate, you can have confidence that my votes will always be in the best interest of the Town. I decided to enter into politics to give back to a Town that that I am passionate about and has provided my family and I with so much, it would be an honor to serve you and the Town. I hope I will be fortunate enough to receive that opportunity through your vote in November, and I appreciate the consideration.
