Farmington FD Reports Busy January As It Looks To Grow Its Ranks

FARMINGTON, CT — As it looks to grow its ranks, the Farmington Fire Department reported a busy start to 2026.

The department responded to 182 calls for service in January 2026, according to department figures.

The calls included 61 fire incidents and 107 medical emergencies.

Crews also responded to six motor vehicle accidents, two public assists, and six mutual aid requests to assist neighboring communities.
