Farmington Financial Firm Adds Simsbury Resident To Team

FARMINGTON/SIMSBURY, CT — Connecticut Wealth Management out of Farmington has announced that Simsbury resident Charles "Chip" Olson is a partner in the group.

According to a company statement, Olsen brings more than 35 years of experience in financial planning and investment management strategies, in addition to working with trusts and estates.

Previously, Olsen was a senior wealth advisor at Wilmington Trust, a subsidiary of M&T Bank, where he focused on business development and wealth preservation strategies.

Olsen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance from the NYU Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology from Hobart College.

A current resident of Simsbury, he is active in the community and serves on the investment committee for the United Way of the Capital Region and is a former chair of the Connecticut Estate & Business Planning Council.
