Farmington Girls Make It to the Final Four
The Indians will play in the Class L soccer semifinals Wednesday.

FARMINGTON, CT — Less than a week ago, the Class LL and L girls soccer tournaments were postponed due to a scheduling error, necessitating some rare Sunday games be played to get things back on track.
Despite being the number 17 seed, Farmington has played brilliantly throughout the Class L tournament, and continued its surprising run with a 2-1 victory at ninth-seeded Sheehan.
After defeating three higher-ranked opponents on the road, the Indians will take on No. 5 Masuk in the semifinals Wednesday, at a neutral location and time to be announced.

Suffield, which had originally been misplaced in the Class L bracket, has thrived as the number two seed in LL, disposing of No. 10 Newington 4-0 in a quarterfinal matchup Sunday at Beneski Field.
The Wildcats advance to the Final Four, and will meet the winner of Monday's Ridgefield/South Windsor match Wednesday, also at a neutral site and time to be announced.
