Farmington Health Insurer Garners Industry Awards

ConnectiCare earns multiple awards at the annual Stevie Awards for customer service and sales.

FARMINGTON, CT — Farmington-based health insurer ConnectiCare recently received silver and bronze awards as part of the 16th Annual Stevie Awards for sales and customer service.

The Stevie Awards are the world’s top honors for customer service, contact centers, business development and sales professionals.

At a virtual awards ceremony in May 2022, ConnectiCare’s centers were recognized with a silver award for Most Valuable Response by a Customer Service Team, and a bronze award for Best Customer Engagement Initiative, according to an announcement from ConnectiCare Tuesday.

Over 2,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and industries, across 51 countries, were considered for this year’s competition, ConnectiCare said in a statement.

“We’re grateful to the Stevie Awards for recognizing our customer service team members, who regularly go above and beyond to serve our members, especially as we continue to navigate challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Karen Moran, ConnectiCare President and SVP of Commercial Business for the EmblemHealth family of companies.

“We’re extremely proud of our team and are honored to share the stage with so many incredible organizations.”

ConnectiCare has received Stevie Awards each year since 2018.

In 2021, the company took home a gold award for Innovation in Customer Service – Other Service Industries, silver for Best Customer Satisfaction Survey and bronze for Best Engagement Initiative.

“The nominations we received for the 2022 competition illustrate that business development, customer service, and sales professionals worldwide, in all sorts of organizations, have continued to innovate, thrive and meet customer expectations during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Stevie Awards President Maggie Gallagher Miller.
