Farmington High School Musicians Receive All-Conference Award

The Connecticut Music Educators Association sponsors a music festival in the northern region conference each year for high school students. The selection for the festival is through an adjudication process where high school musicians audition on a college-level solo with required scales and sight-reading on demand. Those students selected for the festival performed with the highest level of musicianship in the adjudication.

The number of FHS musicians selected for the Northern Regional Music Festival was the highest in our conference again this year. Farmington High School musicians received high scores at the conference adjudication. This year the following students performed in the festival held at New Britain High School on January 17th and 18th.
