Farmington High School Musicians selected for National Award

Two FHS vocalists will perform at Disney in a music ensemble with the best high school musicians across the country.

Farmington High School musicians, Pooja Swami and Saadhvi Kartik were selected for this year’s All-Nationals Honors Choir 2017 sponsored by the National Association of Music Education. Student musicians from across the country were selected through auditions and specific criteria for the All-Nationals Honors Ensembles of band, choir, orchestra and jazz. National honor musicians travel to Orlando, FL Coronado Springs Resort and Disney for their rehearsals and performances on November 26-29. It is an exciting opportunity to perform with the best high school musicians across the country. Only twenty vocalists were selected from Connecticut. Congratulations to Pooja and Saadhvi who are both juniors at Farmington High School!
