Farmington High School Renovation Referendum Defeated
Voters turned down the proposed $135 million improvement plan by more than a 2-to-1 margin Thursday.

FARMINGTON, CT — A plan to spend $135 million to renovate Farmington High School was overwhelmingly defeated in a referendum vote Thursday.
The vote was 5,029 opposed and 2,411 in favor, according to the Hartford Courant.
Nearly 40 percent of registered voters in town turned out.
