Proceeds from the April 10 event at Winding Trails Park will benefit Amy's Angels, which supports local families struggling with illness.

FARMINGTON, CT - The Farmington High School sophomore class is collaborating with an area charity to sponsor a 5K run/walk event in April, according to class advisors Lauren Luciani and Jessica Tolles.
The Class of 2018 is working with Amy’s Angels on the event, which will take place Sunday, April 10 at Winding Trails Park in Farmington.
Amy’s Angels is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive short and long term assistance to individuals and their families dealing with debilitating effects of serious illness or injury. It is named in honor of Amy (Fiondella) Bochman, a beautiful and dedicated mother who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2013 before her son Ethan reached the age of 6.
