Farmington Hiking Trail Closes Tuesday
The trail will be open on weekends in some portions, but that area is closed for trail work during the week.

FARMINGTON, CT — Weekday hikers will have to find an alternative place to go locally as part of the town's rails-to-trails site is closed until further notice during the week.
The portion of the Farmington Rails-to-Trails between Railroad Avenue and River Road will be closed for trail work starting Tuesday, Aug. 8, until further notice.

The closure will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Signage will be placed at each end of the closure.
The trail will be open on the weekends.
