Farmington Hockey Star, UConn Coaches Among Notables in Travelers Championship Celebrity Pro-Am: PHOTOS

More than a dozen stars of sports and entertainment, as well as a member of a royal family, mingled with the crowd between shots Wednesday.

CROMWELL, CT — Fresh off winning the Stanley Cup as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins, former Farmington High School hockey standout Nick Bonino was entertaining crowds of a different kind Wednesday.

Bonino and more than a dozen other sports and entertainment figures took part in the annual Travelers Championship Celebrity Pro-Am at the TPC River Highlands. He was partnered with NBA star Ray Allen, Ken Casey of the rock group Dropkick Murphys and PGA professional John Senden.

Legendary New England sports personalities Doug Flutie, Tim Wakefield, Jim Calhoun and Kevin Ollie were joined by entertainers Kevin Nealon, Luke Wilson and Dane DeHaan, among others.

Another notable, though unheralded appearance was by His Royal Highness Prince Maulay Rachid of the Royal Family of Morocco. He is second in line to the throne, currently held by his brother, King Muhammed VI, and his family has reigned over the country since the 17th century.
