Farmington K-9 Drak Set to Retire After Nine Years of Service

Farmington K-9 Drak will get to enjoy retirement after nine years of service with the Police Department.

Drak and his human partner Officer Capodiferro have been a team for the past nine years. Capodiferro will continue on being a police officer while Drak will be retired at a March 10 ceremony.

Officer Mortensen and his K-9 partner Ryker will be introduced as the new K-9 team for FPD.

The celebration is scheduled for March 10 at 2 p.m. at the Police Department headquarters.
