Farmington Libraries' 'Makers Fair' To Celebrate Creativity Sunday

The event will take place at the Farmington Library on Monteith Drive on Sunday afternoon, March 23.

FARMINGTON, CT — People are invited to stop by the "2025 Maker Fair," on Sunday, March 23, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Farmington Library, 6 Monteith Drive and, well, make stuff.

The unique event will provide guests with several hands-on crafts and activities showcasing what a little creativity and ingenuity can do.

Folks will be able to enjoy demonstrations, hands-on crafting, and experiments happening throughout the library for all ages.

Guests will also be able to browse the work of local artisans who will be demonstrating and selling their goods.

Among the activities/artisans expected are: Kite making; Making your own boats; DNA friendship bracelets; floof launchers; magic puffer fish; paper bag village; glow-in-the-dark pipe cleaner constellations; Popsicle flashlights; a take-apart station; sun print making; book paper crafts; and mural making.
