Farmington Election Results 2019: Thomas Wins Town Council Chair
Farmington residents went to the polls to vote for candidates for town council, Board of Education and several other positions.

FARMINGTON, CT — The votes have been counted in Farmington, and Republican C.J. Thomas has won the position of Town Council Chair with 3,535 votes to 3,239 for Democrat Bruce Charette.
District 1 town council candidates were Democrats Brian Connolly and David Wlodkowski, and Republicans Joe Capodiferro and Peter Mastrobattista. Their unofficial vote totals from the Secretary of the State's office were:
- Capodiferro, 1,572
- Connolly, 1,524
- Mastrobattista, 1,513
- Wlodkowski, 1,445
In District 2, incumbent Democrats Edward Giannaros and Patricia Boye-Williams were challenged by Republicans Gary Palumbo and Christopher Fagan, the current school board chairman. Vote totals were:

Candidates for spots on the Board of Education included two incumbents: Republican vice chair Christine Arnold and Democrat Liz Fitzsimmons. Others vying for seats were Republicans Sarah Healey and Sylvie Binette, and Democrats Matthew Hutvagner and Beth Kintner, currently a member of the town council. Vote totals were:
- Kintner, 3,352
- Fitzsimmons, 3,344
- Arnold, 3,276
- Healey, 3,271
- Hutvagner, 3,206
- Binette, 3,131
