Farmington Man Charged With Enticing Teenage Girl

A judge increased the suspect's bond, and he remains in custody.

FARMINGTON, CT - A Unionville man was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with inappropriately touching and communicating with a teenage girl.

Devin Truax, 31, of 1571 Farmington Ave., is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and enticing a minor with computer service to sex. The latter two charges are felonies.

Bond was set at $10,000, which was increased to $35,000 at his arraignment in Hartford Superior Court. He was not released from custody, according to judicial records.

According to Lt. Colin Ryan, "Truax smacked a 15 year old girl on her buttocks as she skateboarded by him. He later sent the girl an inappropriate text message with sexual inferences in it."

Truax is scheduled to return to court May 25.
