Farmington Medical Professional to Present Program on the Role of the Thyroid and Functions that Change With Age

Free program on the role of they thyroid in your health presented by Farmington-based PA

Farmington-based Physician’s Assistant Marybeth Moore, PA will present a free program on the thyroid and aging on Friday Feb. 3, 2017 at 3 p.m. The presentation is part of Duncaster’s monthly series called “The Art and Science of Graceful Aging.” The program will be held on Duncaster’s campus located at 40 Loeffler Road. Though the event is open to the public, pre-registration is required.

This educational presentation will be led by Marybeth Moore, PA. She will discuss the role of the thyroid in metabolic function and how it changes with each passing year. She will address who needs treatment and who doesn’t, as well as treatment options and risks.

Moore is a Physicians Assistant with Hartford Healthcare and practices at 406 Farmington Avenue, Farmington. She specializes in nutrition, exercise and metabolism and Thyroid Disease.
