
Alice Bagdigian, 97 of Farmington, widow of Monty Bagdigian, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.
Born in Union City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Hagop and Seranoush (Nersessian) Tutunjian. Alice was a resident of Long Beach, Long Island, NY and West New York, NJ before moving to Farmington in 1946. She worked with her husband in the family businesses, Lake Side Dairy Bar and Almont Realty and she was the “Al” in Almont Realty. She retired at the age of 83.
Alice was a member of the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection and the Women’s Guild at Church for 71 years. She was also a long time and proud member of the Daughters of Vartan.

Surviving are her daughter, Armen Michalak Slusarz and her husband Michael of Farmington; a grandson, Donald Michalak, four step-grandsons, John, Gregory, Brian and Kyle Slusarz, many nieces and nephews, and many grandnieces and grandnephews. She is predeceased by her twin sister Armenouhi, and her brothers, Albert, Steven and his wife Mary and John and his wife Barbara.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain and at 11 AM at the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
