Farmington Obituary: Allan Pencz, 65

Allan Charles Pencz, 65, passed away on Sunday, December,18, 2016 at his home in Manchester.

He was born on March 31, 1951 in Hartford to the late Joseph Eugene and Jacqueline Pencz-Whalen. Allan grew up in West Hartford and graduated from Conard High School in 1969 where he met his first wife and married.

He worked for Pencz Brothers in Unionville with his family. He also worked for Mercury and Casden Oil Companies. He later worked for MJ Emonds Mechanical Company as a Service Manager. Then returned to J.Pencz Inc. He eventually worked for himself and was always willing to lend a helping hand where he could.

Allan married Debra Pencz in 1969 in West Hartford, They were married for 18 years. They had 3 children and lived in South Windsor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and later in life traveling.

Allan is survived by the love of his life, Carol Collins of Manchester, where he resided; his mother, Jacqueline and husband David Whalen; his daughter, Joy Flanders and son in law, James of Pelham New Hampshire; his son, Christopher and his son Chad of Bloomfield; his brothers David and wife Debi, Wayne and wife Laurie, Brian and wife Kathleen; his sisters Brenda and husband Chuck Arrsante and Lisa Pencz; his grandchildren Anthony Morocco of Connecticut, Lillian, Michael and Arianna Flanders of Pelham, New Hampshire and deceased Emily Ann; 12 nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Ahern Funeral Home, 180 Farmington Avenue, Hartford on Thursday Dec 22nd from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday Dec 23rd at 11 am in the Ahern Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
