Farmington Obituary: Anne Toffolon, 70

Anne Mary Toffolon of Farmington, wife of Edward Peter Toffolon, passed away on August 7th while on vacation with her family in Nantucket. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Anne will be remembered as the heart-warming, caring woman she was, touching everyone she met, hoping to leave their day a little brighter than before. She was an avid animal lover and painter of remarkable works which reflected her carefree style, love of color, and her ability to find beauty in anything.

In addition to her husband Edward, Anne is survived by: her daughter Amy Dolan and her husband John Dolan of Redding; Rebecca Toffolon and her husband Darren James of Maplewood, NJ; brother Joseph Kochanek and his wife Jan of Rocky Hill; and three grandchildren who were very dear to her heart: Liam Dolan, Aoife Dolan and Colby James.

Her family requests donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, CT Chapter, 659 Tower Ave, Hartford, CT 06112, in her honor in lieu of flowers.

Friends and family are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 3-7pm at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain CT 06053. Services will begin on Friday, August 12, at 10am followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 10:30am all at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
