Farmington Obituary: Beverly McCallum, 89

Beverly H. McCallum, 89, of Unionville and formerly of East Longmeadow, MA, beloved wife of the late Kenneth McCallum, died on June 23, 2016 at Apple Rehab in Avon.

She was born June 4, 1927 in Springfield, MA to Walter and Gladys (Goodrich) Hunt. She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in Avon and a 50 year member in the order of the Eastern Star #110 Plainville.

Beverly is survived by her son David K. (wife Sheila) and her daughter Susan (husband James H.) Campbell; six grandchildren; David J. Katy, Jesse, Ian, Sandra, and William; eight great grandchildren: Jillian, Eli, Victoria, Elizabeth, Meslissa, Anthony, Timothy, and Paden. Her sister Marion (late husband John) Diduk still resides in MA.

The funeral service will be Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Memorial United Methodist Church, 867 West Avon Road, Avon. Rev. Joseph Piccirillo will officiate. The burial at Fairview Cemetery in Chicopee, MA is private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Methodist Church Memorial Fund or OES Hospital Fund, Grand Chapter of CT, P.O. Box 143, Plymouth, CT 06782.
