Farmington Obituary: Beverly Van Housen, 86

Beverly Jane (Foley) Van Housen, 86, of Unionville and former long time resident of Newington, passed away Sunday November 1, 2015 in John Dempsey Hospital.

Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Francis and Elsie (Duerr) Foley, she graduated from Hartford Public High School and had been employed for many years by the Town of West Hartford in the Human Resources Department prior to her retirement.

She leaves a daughter, Mary (Van Housen) Mulholland and her husband John of Wethersfield; a granddaughter, Maya Mulholland of Wethersfield; a sister, Lucille Foley of Unionville, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Beverly was predeceased by a brother and two sisters, Francis Foley, Dorothea Watson and Arline “Betty” Campbell.

Friends and relatives may call on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4-6:30pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield, CT 06109. A memorial service will be held at 6:30pm in the funeral home.
