Farmington Obituary: Carl Dillon, 58

Carl J. Dillon, 58, of Cortlandt Manor, NY, went home on October 26, 2016.

Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Thomas D. Dillon Sr. and Mary Margaret (Sherer) Dillon. Carl was raised in Farmington, where he graduated from Farmington High School. His passions were the outdoors, fishing and camping throughout the Farmington Valley, and his family.

Carl leaves behind his partner of 17 years, Barbara Reina and their best friend, Lucky, both of Cortlandt Manor, NY. He is also survived by his brother, Tom Dillon and his wife Linda of Monroe, NY, his three sisters, Frances Mullins and her husband Thomas of Calhoun, GA, Mary Margaret Chambrello and her husband Mark of Plainville, and Barbie Varhue and her husband Martin of West Hartford.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-2 p.m., prior to the service.
