Farmington Obituary: Chester Rogala, 89

Chester P. Rogala, 89, of Southington passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Midstate Medical Center in Meriden after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Jeannette (Sulima) Rogala, the love of his life.

Born November 29, 1927 in New Britain he was the youngest and last son of the late Ludwik and Emilia Rogala. Chester was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the U.S. Army. He was employed by CT Spring Corp. of Farmington for many years. He loved to garden but most of all he loved his family. He was a great man and will be truly missed but not forgotten.

Chester is survived by his daughter Janice Hamelin and husband Paul; two grandsons, Brandon Hamelin and Aaron Hamelin and fiancée Jasmine Mathers; two great grandchildren Austin and Jacob Hamelin and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving son Paul.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
