Farmington Obituary: David Lyons, 80

David H. Lyons, 80, passed away peacefully at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.

Born on May 22, 1937, he was the son of the late Clarence and Angie Lyons. He was a longtime Newington and Farmington resident and prior to retirement was the owner of the Brunette Tool Co. in New Britain. David was a member of the Masons, an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing cards and participating in various area dart and bowling leagues. He also had many fond memories of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire shared with his family.

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his daughters, Tally Sylvester and her husband Dennis of Newington and Tracey Murphy and her husband John of Staten Island, NY, a sister Silvia Berry and her husband David of Rochester, NH and four grandchildren, Jeffrey Sylvester, Kamie Chapman and her husband Steve, and Tara & Brianna Murphy.

All arrangements will be privately celebrated and are under the direction of Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial.
