
Giuseppe Corpaci, 67, beloved husband of 41 years to Rosa (DiMauro) Corpaci, of Farmington and formerly of New Britain, passed away at home on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015.
Born in Floridia, Italy, he was son to the late Antonio and Anna (Baio) Corpaci. He was a communicant of St. Ann Church and a retiree of Stanley Works, where he worked for 27 years. Giuseppe was a hardworking, loving and caring man who had a heart of gold. Anyone who met Giuseppe knew they had a friend for life. Giuseppe loved gardening, dancing, spending time with friends but most of all he was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived and will also be dearly missed by his two daughters; Ann Marie Szymula and husband Christopher of Plainville and Giuseppina Corpaci of Plainville, his three precious grandchildren; Daniel and Andrew Szymula and Malena Gonzalez. He also leaves behind his brother, Carmelo Corpaci and his wife Cettina of Germany; two sister’s Concetta Alibrio and her husband Concetto; his sister Rosa Giuliano and husband Salvatore of Italy; His brother-in law Nunzio Formica and many nieces and nephews, all from Italy.

Giuseppe’s family would like to express their deep gratitude to the many “Angels” that took care of him, Anna, Alba, Elizabeth, Maribel, Delma, America and Francisca; his hospice nurse, Sareta and a special thank you to the staff at Mulberry Gardens at Marian Heights for providing a place for Giuseppe to come and enjoy some social time.
Funeral services will begin Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 8:30am for a brief gathering at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by his funeral liturgy at St. Ann Church at 9:30am. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
