
Gregory Kerr, 68, of Farmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday, July 22, 2018.
He was born on December 19, 1949 to Margaret (Machuga) Kerr and the late Stanley Kerr Sr., and spent most of his life as a resident of Unionville. He had a love and passion for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He cherished his getaways to hunt in Newfoundland, Canada and to fish in Pulaski, NY.
He enjoyed duckpin bowling and playing in pool leagues. He was a master woodworker. He enjoyed building cabinetry, picture frames and refinishing furniture. He was retired from the CT Carpenters union.

Besides his beloved mother Margaret, he is survived by his son, Christopher Kerr of Torrington, his daughter Keleigh Scully and her husband Jeremiah of Thomaston; his three grandchildren, Gregory Scully, Rachel Scully and Isabella Kerr; his sister Colleen Kerr of Plainville, sister Lisa Zabel and her husband Kevin of Farmington, brother Stanley Kerr Jr. and his wife Brooke of Unionville. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews. Greg was predeceased by his father, Stanley Kerr Sr., and his brothers Michael and Edward.

Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Thursday, July 26 from 4 PM to 7 PM with a Prayer Service to immediately follow at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Agape House,” an organization that assists the homeless, 43 School St., Bristol, CT 06010.
