Farmington Obituary: John Walsh, 79

John “Jack” Walsh, 79, of Farmington, passed away on March 11, 2016.

Born and raised in Waterbury, the son of Harry and Helen (Mitchell) Walsh, Jack was a graduate of Wilby High School. After high school, Jack embarked on a life-long career in building construction. He was a founder and owner of Construction Services Of Bristol, in Bristol, for more than 30 years.

Jack is survived by his wife, Josephine (DiDomizio), also of Farmington, his children Martin Walsh and wife Betsy of Farmington, Matthew Walsh of Torrington, Rosemary Neamtz and husband Steve of Avon, and his sister Rosemary Walsh of Port Washington, NY. Grandpa Jack leaves five grandchildren Nathaniel, Paige, Isabel, Kendall, and Morgan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, March 18, 2016 at St. Patrick Church, 110 Main St., Farmington. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Farmington. All are asked to meet directly at church.
