Kevin Patrick Sisti Sr., 51, loving husband to Paula (Russo) Sisti of 30 years, of Farmington, passed away on June 22nd after an illness with family and friends by his side.
Kevin was born in New Britain on September 9th 1964 to Benjamin and Helene Sisti of New Britain. A 1983 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Kevin went on to build his career as a entrepreneur taking on many different businesses. But by far his most successful accomplishment in life was his role as husband to Paula and father to his four children. On August 9, 1986 childhood sweethearts Kevin and Paula were married and the devotion and support between them was inspirational to the very end.
A light went out for all of us at that moment but especially for the legacy he left behind, children Kristina and husband Mike, Kevin Jr, Abigail and Samantha. Kevin had the pleasure of enjoying the birth of his first grandchild Aurora Wilson who called him Pa. Kevin also leaves sisters Sarah and Jeff Tufano, Maggie Sisti, Nellie Sisti and Emma Sisti and brothers Ben and wife Kelly Sisti, Edward Sisti and Tucker Sisti and is predeceased by sister Margaux. He also leaves behind his mother in law Carmela Russo, his brother in laws Joe and wife Anita Russo, Sal and wife Teresa Russo. Kevin also loved and adored his many nieces and nephews who will always cherish their fun loving uncle. Kevin also leaves his beach family along with other many close extended family and friends.

Kevin was a private man with confidence, but to truly know him was to love him. He was a man who beat to his own drum but never did he miss an opportunity to guide his children, show them the right way to approach life. If you were around him, you thought you were the only one in the room and his attention to detail about making you feel comfortable was remarkable. He found the most contentment is making others content. He "Fought like a Pirate" and that made him a true hero to his family. We all know that Kevin would not want anyone crying over him; he would want this time to be used as a celebration instead. Kevin will be sorely missed and never forgotten by the people whose lives he touched. If you look at the legacy he left behind, you will know he took that role very serious. Next stop Magic Kingdom!!
Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation from 2-4pm on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry St., Plantsville followed by his Memorial Service at 4pm at the Chapel at Aqua Turf Club.
