Farmington Obituary: Michael Shea, 58

Michael Edward Shea, 58, of Farmington passed away Tuesday, October 18th at his home.

Born March 26, 1958, the son of W. Maury Shea and the late Lois (Heiman) Shea. Michael grew up in West Hartford and attended Hall High School, where he excelled at soccer. After graduation, he began his career as a commercial roofer, working throughout the state. He lived in Newington for several years before moving to Farmington.

Michael is survived by his father, W. Maury Shea of Unionville, his sister, Constance Szerejko of Wethersfield and his sister, Laurie Watsabaugh and her husband Joseph of Wilson, Wyoming, 2 nieces and a nephew.

A Memorial Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Unionville at a later date. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in the family plot at Riverside Cemetery, Farmington. There are no calling hours.
