Farmington Obituary: Norman Kerr

Condolences to his family and friends.

It is with great sadness that the family of Norman J. Kerr announces his passing on June 20, 2018.

Norman will be lovingly remembered by his wife Angela and his 3 children Michelle, Mary-Claire and Adam, as well as his 5 grandchildren. He leaves behind 2 siblings Helena and Robert and joins his brother Stanley in heaven.

A longtime resident of Unionville, Norman currently lived in Pompano Beach, FL with his wife Angela of 52 years. He was a veteran and retired VP of CT Bank and Trust. He was very involved in his community both in CT and FL. He served as treasurer of the Dr. Dunn Scholarship for many years. He volunteered with the Holy Cross Thrift store and St. Vincent Society in FL.

He is an expert antique refinisher and restorer as well as a master clock repairer. Norman was an avid golfer. He loved to dance and play poker at Sea Haven Condos. Norman enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and playing games. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports and dance. Norman will be missed by all who knew him.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, July 28 at 10 am in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionville.
