
Shirley (Brenner) Brynga died on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018. She was the widow of Edward J. Brynga and the daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Lavenberg) Brenner.
She was born in Hartford and graduated from local schools. She resided in Farmington for many years and retired from the Hartford Board of Education after 24 years of service.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce E. Brynga of Avon and Edward J. Brynga of Harpswell, ME, her daughter-in-law, Patricia M. Brynga of Simsbury, two granddaughters, Beth Ann McGarrahan and Erin Weinelt, five beloved great-grandchildren, Thomas, Luke and Jack McGarrahan and Kate and Anna Weinelt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday (May 18) at 10:00am in the Church of St. Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon followed by burial in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
