Farmington Obituary: Tadeusz Czerepuszko, 76

Tadeusz “Teddy” B. Czerepuszko, 76, of Farmington, beloved husband of Lidia (Iwanko) Czerepuszko, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 7th, 2017.

Born September 27th, 1940 in Kamienna Stara, Poland, he was the son of the late Waclaw and Leokadia (Michalowska) Czerepuszko. Prior to retiring, Teddy was a Machinist and Tool & Die Maker at Stanley Works in New Britain. He was an avid fisherman, New England sports fan and soccer fan. He enjoyed vacationing with his family on Cape Cod.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his two sons and their wives, Steven T. and Jennifer C. Czerepuszko of Berlin, Andrew J. and Linda C. Czerepuszko of Southington, his beloved mother-in-law, Leokadia Iwanko of New Britain, his brother, Jan Czerepuszko and his wife Janice of Plainville, his three sisters, Krystyna Marcom and her husband Dennis of Walpole, NH, Irena Dybinski and her husband Waclaw of Bloomfield, Sophie Deprey and her husband Rick of Suffield, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lucy and Norman Muniz of New Britain, three grandchildren, Matthew, Emily and Anya and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers Michael and Ronald Czerepuszko and his sister, Anna Wilson.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Baker and staff at the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center for the wonderful care given to Tadeusz.

Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Monday (Sept. 11) from 4:00-8:00pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday (Sept. 12) at 11:00am in Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain. All are kindly asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
