Farmington Obituary: Virginia Gorski, 93

Virginia (Ginny) D. Gorski, 93, of Farmington, was reunited with the love of her life, John J. Gorski, on Sunday, February 7, 2016.

She was born in Bangor, Maine, and lived in Farmington for over 50 years. Prior to her retirement, Ginny worked for the Aetna Insurance Company for many years, and she was a former communicant of Saint Jerome Church.

Ginny leaves behind her caregivers, nephew Raymond and his wife Virginia Gorski, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews.

Ginny was well loved and cared for until her last breathe by her live in aide Majorie, which whom the family considers “an angel”. Ginny loved traveling and having a good time. The family will always remember her beautiful smile and dimples as well as her favorite sayings . . . “those were the days” and of course “I’ll drink to that”.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Friends may call at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, Thursday, prior to the funeral service, 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
