Bill worked at Gems Sensors in Plainville for 40 years as a product specialist in their sales department. His favorite pursuits were reading and writing fiction, lake fishing, wood carving, and watching news and movies. He was also well known for his audacious sense of humor, especially with his joke and storytelling, and his personable style filled with wit and wisdom that made each person he knew feel welcome and special. Bill’s fishing buddies remember him declaring as he reeled in a good fighting fish, “It doesn’t get any better than this!”, and we remember him saying as we all sat around on a weekend morning reading together, “So many books, so little time.”

The Meyer family would like to thank the Tunxis Hose Fire Co., the Farmington Police Department, and The Ahern Funeral Home for helping us.
