Farmington Patch Letter: Candidate Liz Sanford — A Good Neighbor
A Farmington Patch letter.

FARMINGTON, CT — To the Editor:
My husband and I are next door neighbors to Liz Sanford on Mountain
Road in Farmington. For 15 years we have had a unique perspective and
opportunity to observe an individual who has demonstrated a fierce
commitment to family and community. We kiddingly say that Liz and her
husband Ted are the "salt of the earth."
Liz walks to Noah Wallace when school is in session to fulfil her role as a
building substitute teacher. She serves as Vice- chair of the Stanley-
Whitman House Board of Directors. She has volunteered with the
Farmington Land Trust, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, her church, the
First Church of Christ, Congregational, and Rebuilding Together Hartford.

For many years Liz coached Farmington Girls Youth Lacrosse.
Liz has also served on the Farmington Village Committee and the
Farmington Community Chest.
Liz has a good understanding of what makes Farmington a special place to
live and she appreciates the critical balance between economic growth and
maintaining the Town's special character.

We strongly recommend Liz Sanford, Democrat for the Town Plan and
Zoning alternate position.
