Farmington PD To Host Toy Drive At Avon Walmart

FARMINGTON/AVON, CT — The Farmington Police Department will be at a nearby Walmart store Friday to stuff a cruiser full of toys to help brighten Farmington children's holidays.

The FPD is hosting a "stuff-a-cruiser" toy drive at the Avon Walmart store, which is located at 255 W. Main St., Avon.

They will be there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the store, with proceeds benefitting the Town of Farmington's social services department, which will distribute them to families in need.

The event is only seeking new, unwrapped toys, according to the department.
